The Major Projects Subcommittee is responsible for planning and delivering flagship initiatives that contribute to the long-term growth and legacy of BRACUAAA.
In addition to leading large-scale initiatives, the subcommittee also manages requests from alumni members who wish to initiate major projects within the BRACUAAA community. These initiatives are assessed based on alignment with organisational goals and the resources available.
The committee works closely with the Management Committee and other subcommittees to ensure that all major initiatives are well planned, effectively coordinated, and successfully delivered.
Through these efforts, the team plays a key role in transforming ideas into impactful programs that benefit the broader alumni network.

Coordinate collaboration across multiple subcommittees
Ensure effective planning, execution, and delivery of major initiatives
The Major Projects Subcommittee is currently working on several key initiatives aimed at strengthening the foundation and future growth of BRACUAAA:
Development and continuous enhancement of the official BRACUAAA website to improve accessibility, communication, and engagement with alumni across Australia.
Design and implementation of a structured membership benefits platform that provides value to paid members through partnerships, services, and exclusive opportunities.
A structured initiative focused on strengthening the governance framework of BRACUAAA. This includes documenting all proposed changes to the BRACUAAA constitution, presenting these proposals at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) for review and decision (inclusion or exclusion), and subsequently updating the constitution based on AGM outcomes.
BRACUAAA is a volunteer-driven organisation, and the strength of our community comes from alumni who generously contribute their time and expertise.
Alumni with experience or interest in project management, strategic planning, program coordination, governance, digital platforms, or large-scale initiative delivery are encouraged to contribute.
